Women’s Running, in conjunction with RunnerSpace, is looking for one high school or collegiate athlete to be our XC Ambassador! If you have a passion for writing, photography—and running of course—we want to hear from you.

The Role:

The winner of our XC/Track & Field Ambassador search will be given a six-month contract to write two articles for WomensRunning.com per month, which may be published on RunnerSpace.com as well. The articles should focus on what it means for you to be a high school or college athlete with the goal to translate your experience to a larger audience of female runners. You will receive prominent placement on our website as a featured ambassador, as well as the opportunity for Instagram and Snapchat takeovers on Women’s Running’s channels. It feels a little silly to call this a job—but you will be compensated for your work.

The Requirements:

We are looking for a high school or collegiate athlete with some cross-country and/or track-and-field experience. If applying for this role, you should have a passion for writing, an ability to meet tight deadlines, a love for sharing your personal stories on social media and a commitment to cultivating your voice and receiving editorial critique.

Remember: We are looking for a female athlete who can speak to a wide range of women—from fellow scholastic runners to people of all ages who are just picking up running for the first time.
